ANGLESEY CIRCUIT - ABERFFRAW

 We have now arranged a meeting at Anglesey using the new ‘Club’ circuit on the above date. The Circuit has undergone a major upgrade and is now regarded as one of the country’s top racing circuits. The race meetings that we held in November and December of last year were not well supported, especially the December meeting and this meeting will be the last that we will be running, if the support is again poor. As a club we actually lost hundreds of pounds running the 2 events last year!  Details of this event are on our website www.angleseycarclub.co.uk and details of the circuit and the ‘Club’ layout that we will be using can be seen on the circuit website. www.angleseycircuit.com 

Please support this event as the future of the Winter Series is seriously under threat due to lack of competitors.

 YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED – NO SUPPORT, NO WINTER SERIES.

 Any proceeds from this meeting will be donated towards local charities. 

The entry fee will be £80 and all bookings will need to be made in advance. Booking forms are available on the website. The fee for an extra driver sharing the same car will be £20 (2 Heats per Driver) Maximum of 2 drivers sharing one car. Please fill in a second set of forms for the second driver.

Please send a SAE with your booking so that we can send you your booking confirmation. The booking fee will cover one additional person access to the circuit. All other people will be required to pay the circuit entry fee. 

Please make cheques payable to Anglesey Grass Track Club. Please fill in a club membership form and a day license form for the event. (Forms available on the website) 

The club is no longer able to offer Personal Accident insurance cover. Please make your own arrangements if you feel this to be necessary. We are covered for public liability. 

Please could you ensure that all your cars are up to the required standards, not only from a safety point of view, but also the cars appearance. Please ensure that your cars are adequately silenced, as there have been some complaints about the noise at the circuit. M&S tyres are NOT allowed. Rules and Regulations are available on the website.

We will not be allowing any passengers in the cars. This is for safety reasons due to the fact that this is classed as circuit racing and not rallying or stages. The minimum age of competitors will be 17 years. 

Please could you turn up as early as possible in order that the racing starts early. Scrutineering starts at 8am and closes at 10am. Racing starts at 11am prompt.

Please can you let us know if you wish to stay at the circuit (caravans or tents) the night before, but please keep the noise down if you do.
